GETTING TO THE VACHE
The Vache, Vache Lane, Chalfont St. Giles, Bucks, HP8 4SD
There are two stations in close proximity to The Vache:
Chalfont & Latimer is easily accessible from London Marylebone station, with trains leaving every 30 mins (30 min duration). Chalfont & Latimer is also a tube stop on the Metropolitan Line (c. 45 min duration from Baker Street). We operate a FREE shuttle bus from this station, please see details below.
Gerrards Cross is also easily accessible from London Marylebone station, with trains leaving every 25 mins (c. 25 min duration).
Festival Shuttle Bus
As in previous years, we’re happy to offer a free shuttle bus to and from Chalfont & Latimer Station (here’s an exact google pin for the location).
For Tempest shows it will depart at 2.40pm, 3.10pm, 3.40pm, 4.10pm, 4.40pm, 5.10pm and return journeys from The Vache will depart at 8.40pm, 9.10pm, 9.40pm, 10.10pm.
For Water Music it will depart at 5.50pm, 6.20pm, 6.50pm and return journeys from The Vache will depart at 9.40pm, 10.10pm.
For SPLASH! it will depart at 9.40am, 10.10am, 10.40am, 11.10am and return journeys from The Vache will depart at 1.10pm, 1.30pm.
We suggest following directions to ‘Vache Baroque’ on Google Maps.
If you are coming from the direction of Central London or Gerrards Cross, you will come to a double mini roundabout as you enter Chalfont St. Giles. Take the B4442 up the hill. Vache Lane will be the first left turn you come to. From here, our parking will be clearly signposted.
There will be free onsite parking clearly signposted on arrival to The Vache.

Tickets
Once you have booked your ticket(s) online, you will receive a QR code ticket. Please present this to our box office team, either on your device or printed out.

ACCeSSIBILity
Our site at The Vache is outdoors and most of the terrain is flat. Unless the weather is particularly wet, this is suitable for wheelchair users. There are certain areas of the grounds that are more difficult to access but this would not compromise your experience substantially.
We will endeavour to accommodate your accessibility needs wherever possible, i.e. special parking arrangements, use of a ground floor indoor toilet, reserved picnic area.

AT THE vache
There is no dress code at Vache Baroque events. Having said that, we always strive to create a festive atmosphere for everyone, so if you feel like it, please do wear your own version of “dressed up”, whatever that may be.
Our performances take place under a tent, so all performers and audience members are be covered in the event of inclement weather. We also have umbrellas and gazebos stationed around the grounds to keep people dry beforehand. Please do check the forecast before you join us and dress appropriately for the weather. Chalfont & Latimer is also accessible from London Marylebone station, with a trains leaving every 30 mins (30 min duration). Chalfont & Latimer is also a tube stop on the Metropolitan Line (45 min duration from Baker Street).
We will offer a complementary shuttle bus for August and September 2021 events – please see below for details.
Gerrards Cross is easily accessible from London Marylebone station, with trains leaving every 25 mins (25 min duration). A taxi can be booked with GX Cars, Chalfont Taxis or with Uber and should be around £15.
The Vache Baroque Festival provides a complimentary shuttle bus service from and back to Chalfont & Latimer station (Metropolitan line Zone 8 and Chiltern Railways from Marylebone). Anyone making use of the service to arrive at The Vache Baroque Festival will be issued with a return ticket.
As in 2021, the 2022 shuttle bus will be leaving Chalfont & Latimer station at the following times on each performance day:

Please leave the station through an open gate at street level on Platform 1. The shuttle bus will be waiting near this exit, outside the Craft Beer shop. Please wear a mask to use the service.

Covid-19 Safety Measures
Vache Baroque pledges to adhere to the latest guidelines from Public Health England. Any changes in guidelines will be reflected on this section of our website as they occur.
We ask all guests to please stay at home if you have any symptoms of COVID or feel unwell.
We will have masks and hand sanitiser available to use in the lobby area. We encourage all guests to respect other peoples personal space while moving around the venue, especially in congested areas.
