Come & Learn To Sing in High Wycombe

11am – 1pm on Saturday 16 September
10am – 12pm on Saturday 30 September
11am – 1pm on Saturday 7 October

at the Wycombe Arts Centre, 15 Desborough Rd, High Wycombe HP11 2PU

No previous experience singing in choirs or reading music needed!

These sessions will be led by Shivani Rattan, Gabriella Liandu and VB Artistic Director Jonathan Darbourne. The content will include:

• ‘Finding’ your voice: physical and vocal warm up exercises
• Learning folks songs and rounds
• Music notation: ‘learning the language’
• Singing from sheet music: how to follow and hold your line
• Improvising vocal melodies
• Practising for an informal showcase on Saturday 14 October

£5 per session (includes light refreshments and sheet music to take away). NB this fee is waived for participants joining us via Wycombe Refugee Partnership or One Can Trust.
