2022 SUMMER FESTIVAL
The Vache Baroque Festival is back for its third summer offering, having launched during the pandemic to bring world-class Baroque music to The Chilterns AONB.
The highlight this season is Charpentier’s La descente d'Orphée aux enfers which takes place in the beautiful grounds of The Vache, the house previously owned by King James II.

LOOKING BACH
Vache Baroque presents a gala event with a twist to celebrate 300 years since the compiling of J. S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier Book 1 and the Anna Magdalena Notebooks.
The evening will feature performances and new commissions from a number of outstanding and award winning classical, jazz and electronic musicians. The line up includes pianist Libby Burgess, harpsichordist and melodica player David Gordon, the David Gordon jazz trio, sound artist Dan Samsa, and a consort of Vache Baroque singers and players.
