Relaxed Performance of Le Carnaval de Venise

Join us for the Relaxed Performance of our 2025 summer festival show: Le Carnaval de Venise (1699), a circus-opera with music by André Campra.

Grounds open 10am – 1.30pm
The main show will start at 11am. Running time will be c.1 hour, to include a short and interactive interval
About the relaxed performance
Building on a successful first edition in 2024, this abridged version offers a warm welcome to everyone, especially those who may find it challenging to follow traditional theatre conventions. This includes families with young children or babies, people who are autistic, people with other neurological differences, people with learning disabilities, and people with movement-related conditions.
The performance will feature:
Musical highlights with narration
British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation
Introductions to instruments
This year we will also create a ‘what to expect’ picture guide to help audiences prepare for the experience. We will have more wheelchair-accessible spaces, additional front of house staff available to offer support, and a quiet area for anyone who would like some time away from the performance.

Food & DRink at this year's summer festival
We are delighted to announce that this year’s catering at the Vache Baroque Summer Festival will feature the renowned chef and restaurateur, Omar Allibhoy. Internationally celebrated for his culinary expertise, Omar has honed his craft at some of the world’s most prestigious restaurants, including the three Michelin-starred El Bulli and Gordon Ramsay’s Maze, before founding his own acclaimed establishments across London.
This summer, Omar will be crafting our festival hampers, bringing his exceptional talent and passion for food to Vache Baroque. We can’t wait to welcome him and share this unforgettable culinary experience with our guests.
